Founding Software Engineer

We are looking for a full-stack engineer. An ideal candidate must be able to handle ambiguity in our early stage startup journey. You will have a lot of influence on our product direction and company culture.

You will work closely with the co-founders (primarily Tony, previously a senior software engineer at Stripe) and build the foundation of our product. Over time, we expect you will grow to become a tech lead of our engineering team.

What we are looking for

• You are able to build and ship features end-to-end from start to finish. That includes planning, development, testing, deployment, and gathering user feedback.
• You communicate well in English and work effectively in a remote team setting.
• You are proficient in our tech stack: NodeJS, Next.JS, TypeScript, Python, React, PostgreSQL.
• You have experience working with our DevOps environment / tool chain: Git, Linux on AWS, Vercel, Sentry.
• You have experience integrating with 3rd party APIs with English documentation.
• You follow industry standard best practices, and you write clean code that can generally be easily understood without much documentation.

The following may make you a star candidate

• You contribute to Open Source or have your own open source projects on GitHub.
• You have worked for over 3 years in a fast-paced tech company or startup environment.
• You have experience working in the FinTech industry.
