Why this role is special?
You’ll own D2C growth from the ground up, with direct access to founders, product, and engineering. This isn’t a “manage agencies” role. You will build the growth engine: acquisition, conversion, retention, and monetization - then use AI + experimentation to compound results fast.
This is a high-ownership “do whatever it takes” role for someone who wants to operate at founder speed, learn the full stack of an insurance/warranty business, and ship work that directly moves revenue, conversion, and retention. If you want a seat where your work shows up in revenue every week, this is it.
What you’ll do
D2C Growth (primary focus)
- Own and grow the full D2C funnel: traffic → conversion → attach → repeat purchase → referrals
- Run rapid experimentation on landing pages, pricing/packaging, offers, copy, and checkout flows (A/B testing mindset)
- Build performance marketing loops (paid search/social, retargeting, creatives, attribution) and optimize CAC vs LTV
- Launch lifecycle programs: email/SMS, win-backs, post-purchase education, review/referral loops
- Build and maintain a growth dashboard: funnel metrics, cohorts, CAC payback, LTV, retention, and channel ROI
- Work closely with product/engineering to ship conversion improvements fast (you’ll influence the roadmap)
B2B Growth (secondary)
- Support merchant program growth: improve adoption/attach rate among existing merchants
- Create and iterate partner-facing assets: positioning, onboarding materials, case studies, playbooks
- Run targeted experiments to improve merchant activation and usage
AI-first execution (expected)
- Use AI tools daily for creative iteration, copy variants, research, landing page drafts, and campaign analysis
- Build workflows that reduce manual work and increase velocity (campaign ops, reporting, segmentation)
What success looks like (first 90 days)
- You identify the 2–3 highest leverage channels for us and scale what works
- You ship a weekly experiment cadence (creative + landing page + offer + lifecycle), with clear learnings
- You establish clean reporting + dashboards so growth becomes predictable and repeatable
Who you are
- 3+ years in growth marketing / performance marketing / lifecycle marketing, ideally for D2C or e-commerce
- You’re extremely hands-on: you can launch campaigns, write copy, ship landing page edits, and analyze results
- You think in funnels and cohorts, not vanity metrics
- You’re creative and analytical: strong taste + rigorous measurement
- You move fast, love experimentation, and can operate without heavy direction
- You communicate clearly and work well with founders, product, and engineering
Requirements (Must Have)
- 3+ years of relevant experience with measurable outcomes
- Strong grasp of performance marketing fundamentals (testing, targeting, creatives, attribution basics)
- Strong copy and messaging instincts for consumer journeys
- Comfort with data: Sheets/Excel, analytics dashboards, interpreting funnels and cohorts
- In-person role in Gurgaon, India
Requirements Nice to have
- Experience improving checkout conversion / CRO
- Experience with lifecycle tools (email/SMS) and segmentation
- Experience working closely with product/engineering teams
- Experience in fintech/insurance/warranties or other trust-heavy products
