About This Role

As Head of Professional Services, you’ll own the end-to-end customer implementation journey — from sales handoff to go-live. You’ll design scalable delivery frameworks, hire and develop the team, and ensure every customer achieves measurable outcomes quickly. This is a player-coach role for a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-growing, early-stage environments and deeply understands accounting workflows.

What You’ll Do

• Build and lead the Professional Services function — people, processes, and metrics
• Develop repeatable onboarding and implementation frameworks for customers
• Oversee all customer projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and high satisfaction
• Partner with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to create seamless handoffs and feedback loops
• Establish systems and KPIs for utilization, time-to-value, and margin
• Continuously optimize delivery processes for scale and efficiency

Required Skills & Experience

• CPA or strong accounting background with a deep understanding of finance workflows and the tools accountants use
• 10+ years’ experience, including 3–5 years leading Professional Services or Implementation at a B2B SaaS company
• A builder at heart who loves creating structure, process, and scalable frameworks
• Skilled at balancing customer outcomes, automation, and efficiency to drive impact
• Startup-minded — strategic and hands-on, equally comfortable leading and executing
• Strong communicator who earns trust with CFOs, Controllers, and accounting teams
• Data-driven operator who uses metrics to improve delivery and team performance
• Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the United States

Compensation

• Base Salary: $160,000–$200,000 depending on experience 
• Performance Bonus: 30% of base salary, tied to customer outcomes and operational KPIs
