About This Role

Blue Onion is revolutionizing accounting by unifying order, payment, and cash flow data in a single platform that automates reconciliation and revenue reporting. We are seeking talented accountants with deep expertise in the problems we are solving and relationship management skills to assist our customers in adopting new processes. What You’ll Do

• Lead technical sales conversations and product demonstrations for prospects and qualified leads
• Provide technical accounting context and expertise during the sales process to validate platform fit
• Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand prospect needs and customize solution presentations
• Conduct technical discovery sessions to understand prospect workflows and pain points
• Create and deliver compelling technical presentations that showcase Blue Onion's capabilities
• Support contract negotiations by providing technical feasibility assessments and implementation timelines
• Identify customer technical requirements and implementation needs during sales cycles to forecast deliverables for smooth onboarding transitions 
• Contribute to product and engineering teams' roadmap by sharing prospect feedback and technical requirements
• Maintain deep understanding of competitive landscape and technical differentiation

Required Skills & Experience

• You're an expert technical accountant, take ownership of your work, and are highly curious
• You excel at translating complex technical concepts into business value for prospects
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3-5 years of accounting or eCommerce experience, ideally with a combination of Big 4 and industry experience
• Strong presentation and demonstration skills with ability to think on your feet
• Experience with complex workflow automation and reconciliation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary of $100,000 - $140,000, commensurate with experience
