About This Role

Blue Onion is revolutionizing accounting by unifying order, payment, and cash flow data in a single platform that automates reconciliation and revenue reporting. We are seeking talented accountants with deep expertise in the problems we are solving and relationship management skills to assist our customers in adopting new processes. We are thrilled to be a new home for professional accountants ready to do extraordinary work and make a difference with specialized backgrounds in disruptive technologies.

What You’ll Do

  • Handle urgent customer requests, troubleshoot issues, and manage escalations
  • Conduct regular training sessions with existing customers
  • Develop and maintain customer service metrics - e.g. CSAT, NPS, First Response Time, Resolution Time, etc.
  • Build and continuously improve Blue Onion's customer-facing knowledge base and in-app tooltips
  • Create self-service resources and training materials to improve customer independence
  • Contribute to product and engineering teams' roadmap based on customer feedback and usage patterns
  • Advocate for customer needs, bringing empathy and Voice of the Customer to the product development teams

Required Skills & Experience

  • You're a customer-focused technical accountant who thrives on helping others succeed
  • You love building relationships and teaching others new ways of optimizing their workflows
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3-5 years of accounting or eCommerce support experience, ideally with a combination of public and industry experience
  • Proven experience in customer success, support, or account management roles
  • Ability to handle various tasks simultaneously, prioritize open issues, and manage multiple deadlines
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work independently
  • Experience with complex workflow automation and reconciliation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong collaboration skills and natural teaching ability
  • Experience building knowledge bases, documentation, or training materials is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary of $100,000 - $140,000, commensurate with experience
