About the Role

We’re hiring an Operations Lead – Customer GTM to help us build the systems and playbooks that power how we onboard, support, and grow our HVAC distributor and contractor customers.

Above all else, we need a strong operator—someone who thrives on solving problems, building structure, identifying bottlenecks, and improving the way teams execute. Our go-to-market motion is still evolving, and we’re looking for someone who can help bring clarity and repeatability to a fast-moving, high-impact part of the business.

You’ll focus on the internal mechanics behind our customer-facing efforts: onboarding playbooks, customer success process, CRM upkeep, and product usage tracking. You’ll report directly to our COO/Co-Founder and play a key role in simplifying the lives of our customers through systems and execution.

Location: Strong preference for West Coast (Bay Area or Seattle)
Travel: Up to 30% (including team onsites)
Compensation: Competitive salary + meaningful equity in a seed-stage company


What You’ll Do

  • Build and refine internal workflows to support onboarding, training, and long-term customer success
  • Own CRM hygiene and structure — ensuring clean data, usable tracking, and clear visibility across the team
  • Design and document playbooks to help internal teams stay aligned and accountable
  • Automate and streamline key parts of the customer journey to reduce manual effort
  • Analyze product and CRM data to surface usage patterns, gaps, and opportunities
  • Close operational gaps and improve execution
  • Adapt systems and processes as our GTM motion evolves with new customer segments and product capabilities

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–4+ years in Ops, CS Ops, GTM Ops, BizOps, or similar roles at an early-stage startup
  • A proven operator mindset — someone who runs toward ambiguity and creates structure that scales
  • Strong customer instincts — able to anticipate customer needs, spot friction points, and support solutions that make their experience better.
  • Analytical skills & mindset — you have advanced Excel skills, know how to validate data & identify issues, and can turn data into decisions.
  • Help us define and maintain key metrics for customer health to help drive engagement, retention, and team focus
  • Ability to manage up, ask effective questions to confirm requirements, and exhibit strong self-awareness to identify & address your knowledge gaps.
  • Experience owning and improving CRM and onboarding workflows
  • Adaptable communication skills with the ability to translate for different audiences.
  • High attention to detail, clear communicator, and natural project owner
  • Able to juggle competing priorities and drive tasks to completion.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with tools like HubSpot and Mixpanel
  • Experience supporting customer-facing teams or building GTM systems from scratch
  • Track record of successfully managing customers and partners
  • Exposure to HVAC, field service, or trades-related industries

Many HVAC contractors are former technicians and the vast majority don’t have the team to manage complicated software platforms or disparate data sources. Yet they’re expected to piece together product specs, pricing, availability, rebates, and imagery from scattered sources and present it clearly to homeowners.

They’re being asked to do too much — and it’s hurting everyone involved. Distributors and manufacturers depend on contractors to close the sale, but homeowners are left making $10–$20K decisions based on proposals lacking basic details: no product information, performance data, images, or rebate details — just a model number and a price.

We’re fixing that. Onsite partners with distributors to give contractors a live digital pricebook with the ability to add an integrated proposal tool — making it easy to build professional, accurate, and homeowner-friendly proposals in minutes, with no setup or ongoing admin.
