Pickle is the “online-me” engine for an AI-native world—an AI Self that helps you show up looking and sounding your best, every time. Our real-time streaming avatar already unlocks physical and cognitive freedom for hundreds of millions of daily video-call users, letting them glide through back-to-back meetings without the camera fatigue.

What you’ll do

• Own our macOS client end-to-end in Swift/SwiftUI.
• Ingest ultra-low-latency video streams from our cloud-hosted NeRF & diffusion pipeline through WebRTC + LiveKit, render avatars locally with AVFoundation, and expose them via virtual-camera/virtual-mic drivers.
• Harden virtual-camera & virtual-mic drivers: entitlements, sandbox, notarization, auto-update, crash reporting.
• Craft a first-run onboarding/tutorial that gets new users avatar-ready in under two minutes and keeps veterans delighted.
• Super-charge your workflow with AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.), then teach the team your tricks.

You might thrive if you…

• Have shipped at least one consumer macOS app end-to-end.
• Speak Instruments, RTTI, WebRTC/LiveKit internals, and sandbox entitlements.
• Treat the product like your own child—sweating over every dropped frame, pixel, and edge case.

Interview Process

Interview Process (≤ 10 days, ~4 hrs total)

1. Founder intro — 30 min Zoom on vision & culture

2. Async challenge — 24 h Git repo fixing a real bug/feature

   AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude etc.) strongly encouraged; we’ll ask how you used them.

3. Technical deep-dive — 30 min with Pickle founders to review your code and AI workflow

4. Culture-add chat — 30 min with People/Co-founder; bring your questions

5. Reference & offer — same day via Deel
