Narrative Video Editor (Contract)

Video is the most compelling medium ever invented.

But even a single minute of video can take hours to produce and requires expertise across multiple tools. We’re fixing that.

We’re a seed-stage tech startup based in SoHo NYC, building a creative video platform. Our customers include companies like Clay and Shopify, and we’re looking for a Narrative Video Editor to help us deliver world-class customer content.

This is a full-time, in-person, three-month contract role with the potential to convert to a permanent position.

What You’ll Do

We’re an experienced startup team building the future of creative tooling for video. You’ll join a small, talent-dense team of creatives, designers, and engineers. This role is in-person, 5 days a week, based out of our SoHo office.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Editing both high-end and social marketing videos in both supervised and unsupervised settings.
• Collaborating with our engineers to improve content workflows and processes.
• Taking ownership of projects and self-directing when necessary.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience (social + high-end preferred).
• Proficiency with Davinci, Adobe Premiere, Avid Media Composer, Capcut or similar editing software.
• Light motion graphics skills (After Effects, or similar).
• You must have US work authorization and be based in NYC.
• A professional reel or portfolio site is required to be considered for this position.
• Bonus: Experience with on-set production — lighting, framing, and shooting — to support occasional in-house content needs
