About the Role

We’re hiring a Senior Finance Manager to work closely with our Finance Lead to help us scale financial operations, build efficient reporting systems, and manage financial controls in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, takes initiative, and can lead financial workstreams independently while collaborating across function

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Operations Oversight

• Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll administration.
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in all financial transactions.
• Develop internal workflows to automate and scale routine finance processes with minimal oversight.

2. Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare and deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Develop dashboards and key financial KPIs to support strategic decision-making across the business.
• Track and explain variances between actuals and forecasts, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.

3. Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning

• Work with leads to develop and manage budgets across teams and projects.
• Forecast revenues, expenses, and cash flow based on pipeline, contracts, and market assumptions.
• Monitor budget vs. actual performance and recommend corrective actions to maintain financial discipline.

4. Cash Flow & Treasury Management

• Maintain real-time visibility into cash positions across multiple entities or currencies.
• Optimize working capital through smart payables/receivables management.
• Support treasury functions including cash planning, bank relationship management, and FX exposure analysis.

5. Process Improvement & Systems Implementation

• Identify process inefficiencies and implement practical, scalable improvements.
• Evaluate and help implement tools and systems that enhance financial visibility, automation, and control.
• Design and document SOPs (standard operating procedures) to institutionalize best practices.

6. Compliance, Audit & Governance

• Ensure all statutory filings, tax obligations, and regulatory requirements are met across jurisdictions.
• Support internal controls design and enforcement, minimizing financial and operational risk.
• Serve as a point of contact during internal and external audits, including due diligence exercises for investors or partners.

7. Strategic Finance Support

• Collaborate with the Finance Lead on financial modeling for new markets, products, or pricing strategies.
• Provide analytical support for fundraising rounds, investor relations, and board reporting.
• Contribute to scenario planning, business case development, and unit economics tracking.

8. Cross-functional Collaboration

• Serve as a financial business partner to Sales, Operations, Growth, and Product teams.
• Translate financial insights into actionable strategies for non-finance stakeholders.
• Champion financial accountability across the organization by educating teams on budget ownership and financial literacy.

What We’re Looking For

• 4–5 years of relevant experience in finance, preferably in startups, tech companies, or hyper-growth environments
• Strong accounting, FP&A, and financial reporting skills
• Experience working with finance tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Excel/Sheets, financial modeling software)
• Startup mindset: self-starter, problem-solver, and highly proactive
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable working in a remote and fast-changing environment
• Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA) is a plus, but not mandatory
